.....Atlanta
Festival Ballet.....

Founded in 1989, Atlanta Festival Ballet
is co-directed by choreographer Gregory Aaron and internationally renowned
danseur Nicolas Pacaña. It is the only professional ballet
company in Atlanta's Southern Crescent.
For the past fifteen years, Atlanta Festival Ballet has delighted audiences with its holiday classic The Nutcracker. Annual spring productions have included Peter Pan, Swan Lake, Cinderella, The Sleeping Beauty, Romeo and Juliet, Coppelia, Alice in Wonderland, Beauty and the Beast, and The Little Mermaid. In addition, reparatory concerts have included Carmina Burana, and original works such as An Artist's Life and Twas the Night Before Halloween.
Atlanta Festival Ballet is a culturally diverse company with a sincere interest in community outreach. The majority of Atlanta Festival Ballet's funding is directed toward children. As a partner in education with both Clayton and Henry counties, Atlanta Festival Ballet performs before more than 16,000 school0aged children yearly, most of them experiencing the magic of classical ballet for the first time.
Our Company's mission is to present quality ballet and to promote an atmosphere
of acceptance and appreciation for dance performance. Atlanta Festival
Ballet's organizational structure includes two artistic directors, one
associate artistic director, a 20-member board of directors, and dedicated
parents and friends who staff more than 30 volunteer positions.
